WASHINGTON, D.C. – On October 18, the Navy Museum Development Foundation’s Board Chairman, Ambassador Kenneth Braithwaite, RADM USN (Ret), 77th Secretary of the Navy, delivered remarks at the site selection ceremony for the new National Museum of the United States Navy. Alongside other Foundation leaders, the Secretary of the Navy, the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, and members of Congress and the District of Columbia government, Ambassador Braithwaite highlighted the importance of honoring the Navy’s rich history. He emphasized that the new museum will be a living testament to the unwavering dedication of its service members and will inspire future generations to answer the call to serve their nation.
